Sweetness.

I could start this story off by writing once upon a time there lived a young boy who was very, very greedy. His liking for sweet things was known far and wide. But would that be right for a story written in this day and age. No I will start again, please bear with me. A young lad was very fat because he would not leave the sweet things to be eaten by other people. He did not really eat, he scoffed as many sweeties as he could at once in his mouth. It was terrible to watch the saliva mixed with the sweets that ran down his over fat chin.

Many of his teachers and others in Authority had tried to get him to change his eating habits. All to no use he scoffed and scoffed until the very last sweet was eaten. Then his life was one of looking to see if any of the other children had anything sweetly suitable for his voracious appetite. On finding some poor soul his demands for the sweet goodies was forceful, Give it to me or I will bash you one. Not many of the children wanted to be bashed by this bully and they handed over what sweets they had, many thankful not to have been bashed by this greedy little glutton of a boy.

One day the other school children had, had enough from this little bully. The first step was to give him some specially prepared sweeties. These consisted of bread spread thick with jam. From a tube of mustard fresh mustard was also spread on to the jam a slice of bread for the cover. It was not long before the bully came looking for what he now considered his daily wants. From a safe distance most of the children watched to see what would happen. The Bully bit into the freshly prepared sandwich and took some of the jam mustard into his mouth. He chewed and swallowed. The sandwich was gone in a matter of seconds. The watching children could not believe their eyes. What the c watching children did not know was that the bully had eaten a bag of very strong peppermint sweets that he was particularly fond of. He had not even tasted the jam and mustard.

Now one of the bigger boys took over and made a special cake. In this cake he had taken some tablets from his Parents medical chest and ground them down into a fine powder. These tablets were for his Mother who had problems using the toilet. The tablets were to make things easier for her. The cake baking went off perfectly well and on the following day a few were given out to some of the weaker children. As usual the fat boy finished his sweets and went looking for replenishments. He soon found the cakes that had specially been made for him.

Nothing happened until just before midday break he jumped out of his chair and ran to the classroom door. He made it to the toilets. The Teacher told one of the boys to go and see what was wrong with the fat boy. The boy came back into the classroom and trying very hard to hide his grin he burst out with. Fat boy has shit himself Miss. He says he wants to be left alone and that he is all right. The midday break bell sounded and most of the boys forgot all about the fat boy. They rushed off home for their midday meal. In the afternoon the fat boys place was empty. The teacher told one of the older boys to see where he was-. The boy came back to the class. Miss he is still sitting on the lavatory he is afraid to leave in case it starts all over again and Miss it stinks to high heaven out in the toilets. Perhaps you should go and see if he is well. The teacher hurriedly left the classroom, she was soon back with this explanation. I have sent the boy home he must have eaten something that has upset his stomach. He will not be back for a while. The teacher must have wondered why all, I really mean all of the children had smiles or large grins on their faces. The fat boy came back to school after a while but he has stopped eating sweet things. He is no longer a bully and many years later he was told about the specially prepared sandwich made especially for him. He smiled and said, “I deserved it, thanks a lot.”
