The Truth About Life is its All a Lie

Should I Dive in and save you?

Or should I watch you drown

In the truth you cannot bear

I was rooting for you all along

You had my vote my support

You even had my prayers

If I believed in such a thing

But this is me

In my last plea

For you to cast your fears aside, to open up and see

You live a lie

Until you die

And only then the truth is free

I see the liars echoing truths

They read in the morning paper

As if knowing anything

Of what is going on

They lie to themselves about their knowledge

Their opinions change with the day

Until they run out of things to say

Close the paper think on your own

Don’t be another American clone

O say can you see

This is me

In my last plea

O’er the ramparts we watched we so gallantly

You live a lie

Until you die

O’er the land of the free

Should I dive in and save you?

Or should I watch you drown?

In the truth you will not see

The truth that we’re not free.

I loved this one. You can basically apply all the sociological issues The United States have today, like healthcare, relgion, the war effort, etc. Great job. And by the way, your right. I agree too in your perspective.
