Looking Down on the World

One strike set the torch alight

It lit up the darkest night

Bit by bit grew the flame

Born from a criminal who had society to blame

Soon enouugh flames hit the ground

Where it passed, destruction was found

How quick the fire did spread

everything it touched would soon be dead

Next it moved through field and farm

the panick of fire replaced the calm

It hit the ground as if a nife

with each pace it took a life

Then a bird flew on by

If he was grounded he was sure to die

And in his face he could not hide

how glad he was to be so high

With the death of the Earth below

He felt not sad to see it go

And as he wathced the peolpe die

He felt not bad, nor did he cry

For it is not his fault they cannot fly
