embrace me, deface me - take me in your arms and break me

select me, defect me - crumble me into pieces and remake me



i'm your only, but i just don't belong

i'm not human enough for you, i'm just a machine



the earth will be cold when everyone dies

so halt my existence before i open my eyes

i can't feel, i just keep hearing your name

and i'll hear it much clearer once i'm held to the flame



slice me, dice me - give me all the pain you can deal

take me, erase me - make me feel like i'm so unreal



i'm the one, but i feel i'm nothing

i can't feel any feeling inside, so numb just like a machine



you always knew i loved all the pain

i always wanted you to feel the rain

our sorrows, tomorrow, let's leave today

for there's no hope left for us nyway



i decline, i surrender - i’m outside the routine

disconnect me, shut me down - i am an error



i operate every day, just like a machine

programmed into your endless routine

erasing my memory of the places i’ve been

no destination, and no point of origin
