With all these adults
Who’ve done me wrong
I find it so hard
To stay strong
There’s just one who has stayed
With me through it all
You’re the one who catches me
Every time I fall
Isn’t it hard?
Being the only one?
The only one I trust enough
The only one I trust, to love
You protect
My one and only standing heart
I’ve been shattered and lost
So many times
But always found, by you
In the end
It’s you I run to
