I've done a lot of things in life I think of and regret, I also recognize what's done is done in retrospect,
and as I face each morning in reflection I say damn, it's deeper than the mirror cause I love the man I am.

I handle all my business, some with smiles and some with frowns, I sometimes get so angry SUMTHIN'S turnin upside down,
it's better that than list'ning to a hammer goin blam, I need to curb my temper but that's just the man I am.

If I'm gon ride with you then know it's with you I shall ride, I'll watch your back and sides if need be, with you I shall die,
a friend until the end except I'm not a doll named Chuck, I'll brawl and bring the ruck(us) because I just don't give a fuck.

No phony tones are in my bones, I keep it real as hell, if I don't truck with you like that you'd know it and could tell,
I just don't understand that game, we're friends but really not, I'm like The Rolling Stones I simply roll alone and rock.

My brethren, names ain't necessary, they know who they are, for them I'd travel far through burning tar by northern star,
we may not hang or talk that much but ain't a damn thing change, come snow or gangs of rain the love in heart remains the same.

The man I am resigns me to be brash and kind of bold, I hate to see an animal eat trash in nights of cold,
my heart goes out to them for they know not how humans do, I'd rather feed a dog on 4 legs than a man on 2.

I'm not an evil sort my heart's repoire goes back and forth, from sun to pole up north prefer to toke the bowl of course,
my soul meanwhile endures the force as nature takes its' course, my health has fluxuated now I'm healthy as a horse.

With all my past and present issues, 1 thing is a fact, what looks at me from in the mirror, I can look right back
into the eyeballs of this cat, no guilt or shame upon my hands, don't give a damn who loves or hates me, that's the man I am.
