Slow Down
Stare into this paper until you can see what I can see,
This a piece of Life not just some flimsy sheet.
Keep reading these words until you can feel what I can feel,
It’s a part of imagery but also a part of what is real.
I put my life on paper express myself through ink,
This is more than just words written it is what I think.
Stare into your soul until you know what you believe,
Look into your heart until you feel relief.
Ask not of others what you can not do yourself,
Don’t blame things on other people when you’re doing it all yourself,
Look into the sky and ask yourself what is it,
Just some beautiful clouds that you will never visit?
Take a look at a bird and try and see the beauty,
Wings, and feathers, these little things are soothing.
When your Life starts to get hectic slow down for a mintue,
Take your time and start to see all the beauty that is in it.
