Herb was the smartest guy in the class

Every test with flying colors he'd pass

But then Herb got lazy

And a little bit crazy

Because he smoked too much grass

Herb was asked 'Why you smoke marijuana?'

His reply was 'Because I wanna 

People in the know

Tell me for the good stuff I should go

Down to Mexico, to Tijuana'

Herb's pot habit ended when he met a lass

Cleaned up his act, now every Sunday attends Mass

Married that lass, name is Lana

To good music, she turned him on, uh
