Once in a while, I don't feel like cooking, you know

So I'll order something I can pickup to go

Sometimes, I like to order Chinese

It's fast, it's tasty, they aim to please

One of my favorite dishes I suppose, is the dish General Tso's

Just say it. General Tso's Chicken!

My pulse and heart rate, both will quicken

To me, General Tso's chicken is even better

Than the one advertised as finger lickin'!

Lately though, I hesitate to order the dish I think so great

I feel a tremendous sense of guilt

My feeling of guilt, full blown, to the hilt

Why do I feel this way? Listen what I have to say

I hesitate to order General Tso's chicken because..

It's General Tso's Chicken! Huh? Let me explain

Whether I order it often or only once in a while as a treat

If I order General Tso's Chicken, what is General Tso gonna eat?

That's his chicken, it's not mine

I don't wanna take his chicken! That's not fine

I don't care if it's bland or spicy 

It's really not very nice, see? So,

I'M OPPOSED TO EATING GENERAL TSO'S!

AM I CHICKEN? YOU BET I AM!

Without getting into specifics, Tso's a General!

I'm not messin' with no General! No, no, no!

Ok, I know! No mo' General Tso!
