Who is Walt Nauta?
He's a 40 year old Navy veteran, a native of the U.S. territory Guam, who, after completing his military service, got a job as a valet in the White House. He clicked with Trump, and became a close aide to him.
What the Times doesn't address is this. Did Trump ever chew him out for anything Mr Nauta did in connection with these classified documents? As a native of Guam, we can say there was always a piece of him that remained there, even though he relocated to the mainland. How much was this 'piece of Guam' chewed out by Trump, if ever? If it was more than 2 or 3 times, it's almost certain he would lose his flavor. And after it had been chewed, if it had, what happened to it? Was Mr Nauta stuck under a desk in the Oval Office? Did he end up on the bottom of someone's shoe?
These questions need to be answered. If not for the general public, at least for Mr Nauta's immediate family. They really oughta. Does Mr Nauta have a daughter? What may likely happen is that Mr Nauta may be the fall guy in this situation. An innocent man, not aware he's being led to prison like a lamb to the slaughter. If he was a woman, I would say I'm glad the authorities caught her. But Mr Nauta is a man, so I won't. Uh, looks like I already did. Oh.
