Psalm 5

Shield that blocks the Flame





Oh hear me Lord, hear my voice

my mouth it speaks of terror in this place

my face is drenched with many tears

Oh hurry, Lord, You know I meditate

Only on Your Name, only by Your Name

i can be saved.



My Lord My King, set me free

it's a tragedy that i must be

burdened with a flame

My Lord My King, set me free

For it is only to You i pray unto

in the darkest of the nights

set me into flight when morning come



Oh hear me Lord, hear my cry

they try and suck Your blood away

today they lie and they're evil in their ways

Oh hurry, Lord, i come to stay

in Your house, I call You by Your Name

lead me in Your Way.

it's a tragedy that i must be

burdened with a flame

For it is only to You i pray unto

in the darkest of the nights

set me into flight when morning come



They have turned for the worst

and their inside has but stone

and when they shout, from their mouth

out comes a threatened tone

Tell them they are wrong, Lord!

show them what they have done

push them out and pull them down

For in them no good is found

Rejoice, rejoice! all those who trust in You

for they are filled with gladness, in their song it bursts on through

Rejoice, rejoice! they take joy in Your defense

they sing of Your protection and perfect righteousness



For You, Oh Lord, keep them warm

this is why they came

their joy remains in You
