The holy Prophets' visions and hopes are answered, in sum,

by the Incarnated Christ, Messiah, Son and Lamb of God, who is come---

Savior of the wisest man and the most abject bum,

in Whom our lives shall thrive in a celebratory thrum.

At His Birth, the bodiless evil powers find themselves grown numb

with fear; and their chief, the Prince of the Air, is stricken dumb

(that monster who has turned this world into a spiritual slum).

But rejoice in Christ, all people of earth:  this is no time to be glum.
