What we complain of as adversities---

having opined with negativity's

dim view---are not tortures that God has sent

in the infliction of harsh punishment:

such pettiness is not in His Intent.

Nor is it vengeance on sin's perfidy;

for God well knows our human frailty.

But, rather, God uses each incident

to bring our souls nearer maturity;

closer to greater spirituality

along paths that lead us to Heavenly

joy that shall be our faithful desiny,

that we approach (in this earthland) by the Heavenly

Kingdom of our Lord and His Eternity.
