Yet [*/+/^] : Zealous To Praise The Sign And Meaning Of The Cross
Praise God that we can make the sign of the Cross,
the Holy, exalted, salutary Cross (no mere decoration)
which brings the flux of existence to a pause
and reminds the soul of its the cause for exultation.
I speak of repose, after my last earthly breath:
do not mourn it as a finality of death,
nor count it as any kind of mortuary loss,
nor entertain any of disbelief's perfidious tricks.
For I am alive, having been saved by the life-giving Cross.
Mark my grave with the sign of my Savior's life-assuring cross.
