My heart has gotten away from me

Pieced itself out and wandered overseas 

There's parts of it lying here and there....

But the biggest piece is lying where it's far from fair

There's no safety where I know it lies,

away from me by what seems a million miles

I miss it more with every day that goes by

But I don't need it back, because while you hold it

I hope you know that you're mine
