Spread Love
Finding people who are sincere is so hard
Nobody cares about you at the end of the day
People are selfish and only care for themselves
It's hard not to be discouraged
When every time you open up to someone they shut you down
To turn back to their own life
What happened to selflessness?
Did the world forget how to love and care for others?
We've lost touch with the most important things
So obsorbed in ourselves and our own lives it makes me sick
No one is sincere anymore
No one loves in a selfless way
Now it's all about what others can give us
Why can't we rock with people for how they make us feel?
Instead of what they can give us
I wish more people genuinely cared
This world needs love to fix the problems we face
But we can't give that love when we can only see our own problems
Always ingnoring the suffering of others
My voice feels so small in this selfish world
How do I get people to open their blind eyes?
God grant me the strength to speak up
And perserver when all feels hopeless
To spread love to all those whose lives I touch
Even if my change is small
It's still a step in the right direction
No change is ever wasted.
