We were just as alien to them as they were to us; our worlds were separated by languages of cultures, light years from one another; our technology, much different, though not much more advanced that the other's. Our tolerance, however had not changed. Our prejudice, was no different than that of our forefathers. Before the plagues even had time to ravage both sides, the ignorance, and the bigotry, had began to grow; this time, not for another human being, but for a people from beyond the stars, a people who had not come for war or conquest, but had found us only by chance; or by some miracle.
