Caught in a trap
Unable to get free
In unbearable pain
Slowly growing weaker
It can only watch
And do nothing
It cannot help
Slowly the pain grows
It would do any thing to help
But it nothing do nothing
Cannot open the trap
Cannot free its mate
Even death would be better
Anything to stop the pain
Yet it is powerless
And can only watch
As death slowly steals its mate
Its it own pain
It is helpless
Watching its mate die
