Moving shadow beneath the placid water:  the deep sea

fisherman quickly casts his nets, dreaming of a record 

"catch of the day."  Suddenly rising up, the sea monster 

towers above him; lunges; smashes the boat; gobbles the

fisher, then submerges---content with its catch of the day.
