[for all who have been shamed for their need to love and be loved
according to their given natures; and in memory of the great Greek
Poet, Constantine Cavafy, 1863-1933]
Consider the beauty of two young men kissing:
their natures now aware of what they have been missing;
long-haired, clad in baggy jeans, and eagerly barefoot,
their urges toward each other will not be denied or stilled.
And in this moment, one of the Cosmos' purposes is fulfilled;
although prudes, and thugs, and haters will attempt to put
into them a fear of this love with attendant shame.
But they know such love is right, when given in Love's Name.
