this concept of beauty your splendid painting put

into my soul---nine years before my pubescence.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Recently, I have been able to acquire a copy of the children's Bible that first presented the painting to me; and I have also acquired some online versions of it.  I believe my personal definition of Beauty was set by this painting.  Before I was five years old, I suspected I was diffferent (in the parlance of that time); by Autumn of 1970 (I was twelve), I knew it.
