By the Moon's Pale Light

I stand in a open grove,

surrounded by trees tall and short

the sounds of the night fill the air and my ears,

My world goes black as my eyes close

and I feel the world around me,

the life, the peace and harmony,

nothing negative only positive,

a spinning circle.

My feet sink deep into the gound like roots of a tree

they spreaddfar and wide,

then down, down, down into the Earth,

being supported and cared for by the Earth,

My arms strech up into the air reaching high,

reaching up to catch the Sun,

and seeking the precious Air to breathe

and to blow through my branches.

I now stand firm basking in the light of the Moon.

I can feel her love pouring into my core,

into my mind, heart and soul,

deeper and deeper it goes grabing the negative emotions,

my anger and hatered surrounding with love and care and

pulls it out through my roots carring it deep into the earth.

Now whole once again my branches and roots shrink back.

I lie down on the soft grass and look up into the night sky

The Earth grows soft easing my into a deep sleep.

The wind blows softly carring the sweet fragrece of flowers

and the forests across my nose.

A Stag walks out of the forests edge,

his eyes peering into my mind, heart and soul.

Sensing nothing but peace he lies down and watches.

A Lone Wolf crawls out of the underbrush sensing a easy meal

but a single look from the Stag is all it takes and the wolf

knows there will be no meal here.

In stead she walks her wayover and lies at my head,

like a mother would do to her young.

She glances and the Stag, but He is no longer there.

The Sun breaks the darkness and a new day is born.

I stir then wake.

I am alone in the field except a Lone Wolf and a Stag.

They stand side by side looking at me for a moment,

then they turn and run into the forest.

I look skyward seeing the Moon and the Sun

I smile feeling good and whole I walk home having been in the Moon's pale light.
