There was once a girl who spoke her mind
She made a lot of other children want to grind
Their teeth because she drove them crazy
While all her friendships started to become hazy
People began to see her for who she really was
Her friends started leaving her behind because
Of the way she forced herself on people
And always made small problems seem like steeples
Her voice was always really loud
But when someone asked her to be quiet she was stubborn and proud
She didn’t ever ask to be walked upon like stone
All she ever wanted was to escape her broken home
In the silence that came between the both of us
Sometimes she would make me explode and cuss
All she ever wanted was a friend
That would fight with her ‘til the end
But then one day her friend was taking in too much
Mary just couldn’t see that she was having problems and such
Her friend was becoming way too skinny
No longer would Mary shake and shimmy
She just looked at her sitting in the seat
Then she said to her, “Wouldn’t it be neat?”
The friend had cut her off with a glare
All Mary could do was sit and stare
