London Stroll

Vexed at weathers foggy mist,
a smidgen drapes me.
Though redolent it may fall,
with hint of the sea.
Usual Isle day,
for Brits with stiff upper lips,
rest of us dismay.

The seguidilla is a verse form -
Originally a lively dance - is Spanish in origin.

This form has 7 lines - with a syllable count of

7, 5, 7, 5, 5, 7, 5

Line 2 rhymes with Line 4,
and line 5 rhymes with line 7

x, a, x, a, b, x, b

[the x lines are non-rhyming lines]
