Never Alone
Never alone, as the vestige on the sand proves.
Although it seems like someone black-toped my heart,
sea breeze and cool air helps me improve.
Artistry of my soul allows me to restart.

Poetic Form: Goethe Stanza
A very different poetry form than most poets are used to, is the Goethe Stanza. With this one each stanza comprises of a single line, a couplet and a single line. Each single line rhymes with a line from the couplet, one starting and one completing the stanza. Here is the suggested pattern, there is no set meter:

There is a variation to this form that Goethe himself used and that was to add the last line of one stanza to make it an un-rhymed couplet giving it a rhyme scheme thus:
