Shadows of Hope



Darkness of the night

illuminated only by the moon

causing visions

of crystalline branches

glowing in the shadows.



In those shadows

hope arises,

as diamond branches

form into slender fingers

grasping fantasies breathed

by the mistress moon.

Casting them down to earth

and borne into the sleep

of mere mortals

who yet dare to dream.



Visions flushed with

the glow of hope

for we are the makers

of destiny and the

fate of mankind rests

in our hands.
