Garden's Path

Folder:
2002 Poetry

Roses grow to beautiful flowers

Some are red, yellow, or white

All it takes is nature's gentle showers

And the sun's wondrous light

Much like ourselves with this gift of life

We all can grow into a magnificent rose

Watching out for each other so we can be rife

Which is a wonderful thought do you suppose

Not really a flower but alive just the same

With inner beauty and all of god's gifts

Cause if we don't it's truly a shame

For we are unfortunately subject to all of life's shifts

The paths we choose as we live and grow

Allow our hearts to flower or wilt

Allowing us to reach our plateau

Or choke us with our own guilt

Author's Notes/Comments:

Nothing special, I just had to write something.Although I really am happy with the last four lines.
