I would do anything to feel your love

To feel your hands in mine

The soft brush of your fingertips,

But you pull away every time



Just tell me what your afraid of.



I open your doors

Pull out your chairs

Massage every cevice of your body

Brush your hair,

But when I tell you I love you

You turn away from my love

I light candles around the bath we share

I am in awe of the beauty you bare

We embrace and I even feel you cling,

But when I whisper I love you

I feel the sting

Of no words spoken,

As you pull away from my love

Beneath the covers

I feel a warmth I've never felt before

I could forever beg for more,

The taste of your sweetness

The feeling of when we're making love

There is nothing in the world like it,

And afterwards

When I say those three beautiful words

I feel you tense,

It just makes no sense
