SQUEEZING OUT OF LIFE

Folder:
JOURNAL #19

if I close my faith filled eyes

I can still feel your loving embrace

holding me closer than any impassioned dream

of a man ever could

ah, but never forget the caged bird knows

no real moon

this alone propels an almost unwilling I to

continue on

unadorned

blindly curious

but all the same

searching

doubt itself could not even

pry open the richly evolved

mind's cage door

as I seek a far, far greater

freedom

death

and not because I so much wan to die

but more so long for the release

from the physical body

which is little more than a highly

developed coat that cloaks one's soul

throughout a series of classes

that everyone must take..............
