Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if three strands of yarn in pink
Would turn into a braid before you could blink.

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if a blank piece of paper in white
Would fill up with a pretty scene of the night.

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if three calculator numbers at which you leer
Showed a word for a female deer.

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if you scrambled the word for the organ with which we love
And came up with the planet that a bird can see when it's flying above.

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if eyes of shades of greens
Turned into blues that are the colors of jeans.

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if a pink caterpillar crawling by
Turned itself into a pink butterfly.
