Darkness arrives

I awaken in darkness scared and alone, an unatural cold takes me.

A light appear in the distance, I move towards it.

The closer I get the more I feel the cold pull like hands reaching out to hold me back.

I now hear whispers but can't make out what, I move on forward to a stone hall the light at the other side.

I move down the hallway, the whispers louder but still don't make sense.

As I reach the otherside I find a open meadow with a great white tree with 3 empty stone thrones that seem to be part of it.

The ground around the tree is littered with crow feathers and red stain of blood, and finally the source of light is a round pool of water refecting the moon.

I look to the sky and see nothing, no stars or moon but the reflection is still there in the pool.

I look closer and then notice that in the stone thrones now sit 3 woman, on the left a little girl, on the right a old woman and in the centre a young woman.

I now feel the cold hands around my neck, I can neither run or speak. The young woman approaches, the darkness around her seems alive and as she moves closer I notice her dress is made of black feathers as if it was part of her.

Now she stands in front of me light a living shadow, Her long dark hair covers her face and I see only one eye and the corner of her mouth.

Her eye is as black as night with spine chilling stare and her lips are dry as if she is dying of thirst, the hair curls round her body like a snake ready to strike.

She then reaches into my chest as if gripping onto my heart and with a sharp pull I feel the cold fade around me and now see the empty husk that is me lying on the cold ground. The whispers come back and I now see the cold hands take form pulling my body away and now what is left of me is in her hand.

She now moves back to her seat and begins to question me as to why and how I got to his place. I did not know or care to know and as fast as I was torn fom my body I was thrown into the pool. Instead of water I feel as I am falling through the air looking up at the moon.

As I reach closer and closer to the ground I finally jump awake with a lingering whisper NOT YET.
