Of Mind, And Which Memory May Come To Dream

Folder:
Poetry

You hold your mind
Heavy as mine, kept memories
And creatures, you speak
As in your mind
Of dreams you hold
Forever of things that are only real
To the falling leaves
Leaving it up to only with mine
Heavy I held your words
Left everything pretending behind
The windows of where
Our eyes painted the morning
To rise slow on paper
On fire with voices that do not scream
But whisper with only meaning
Everything written with what was
Not made to escape,
But to exist only as heavy as the wind
To hold truth against fears
Of spiraling chance left nothing to live
And why
But why not
To wish each creature
Which knows no secret more than you
To keep love sane
And seas deep
To hold your mind
As weightless a sky
