Like cholera it does spread,

From one person to another,

Turning their hearts strikingly red!

Love steals away sleep,

The mind scarcely belongs,

To the lover and the beloved,

Who keep listening to romantic songs!

Even the animals relish love,

All the goodness love consists of!
