Speak in Beauty

Then there is my partner. We are a different kind of balance, one that I almost feel like I am on a tight-rope trying to live like everyone and they are cheering me on yet she is my safety net and helps me get back up. And she feels like it is the other way around. We balance each other with the ease of a sailor on familiar oceans. The sailor that knows just how to move and handle both his crew and his ship but he also knows the danger yet is still in love with the sea. And we both have faults, but together we seem so perfect, every imperfection just another memory and reminder that we are people and not Gods. And they have problems that no matter how hard I try I cannot fix, and I have problems they cannot fix, and that makes it…… almost better in a way. Because we know that and accept that and it makes it clear while we are one, we are also our own problem and how to walk that tight rope with the confidence that we will not fall, feeling like we own the world.
