We can find money for wars
But not to help the poor
Or help our schools
My dear country
Please listen to me

This just won't do
We go to other countries
Because we think
Not only that we can
But are obligated to help
But tell me dear country
What about the needs
Here at home
We have people
Dying on the streets too
Children going to
Poor and broken down schools
Families going hungry
Ending up homeless
Because our minimum wage
Just won't do
I'm sick of this shit
And you should be too
Clearly something must be done
And needs to be done soon
Because whatever we are doing now
Clearly just won't do
