Good and Fine

And I sipped it well for its age

tasting legacy and hypocrisy

None of us here are bent or broken my friend

so let us in

My hands are not speaking to the moon

They hold something vintage

So come on take my picture and lets get out of here

for good.

And I wrote the address on a napkin

maybe I'll write you sometime

maybe I'll make it there someday

Or you could just have me going

It's all fine

and good.

I'm gonna tap my shoes

and disappear for awhile

Find me that guitar I've been talking about

and make something of myself

You'll find me in a window, playing to

my reflection

and they'll hear it echo, off the light

I keep telling my brain it's gonna all be fine

and good.

So let's sit and pretend that this is

what it is

Pour me a glass of something bold and

I'll tell you what I mean

I'll turn off my phone and you can have me

yeah

all through the night

And it was something worth living

Put me on and wear it, like, it was

old and worth fixing

I promise, if you're good

then I'm fine

if you're good

then im fine
