~A Child's Dream~

(Children's poetry)





I am building a tall ladder

All the way high to the sky.

I'll link it with paper-chains

And some of my tacky glue.



I'll get all the pieces together

And make them fit.

I'll paint them with some of my crayons

In every color that I would please.



I know how happy and proud my mom

Will be of me,

When she sees my pretty ladder,

Reaching all the way high to the sky.



All my friends will want to climb,

High and higher to the closest cloud,

And have a nice tour up there with me

Then we'll play and dream upon all the...clouds.
