Caterpillar

in that morning of september

as the wind was heavier than before

and the drizzles spraying into my face

i could feel its coldness chilling my mind

i remember what my friend said

  "troubles are great teachers"

  But arent they our bestfriends

never leaving us through thick and thin

i reckon we are born as caterpillars

eating all those ills into our head

crawling through those pains now and then

and becoming gross and bulky day by day

And fed up of all mediocrity we fall asleep

shrinking into the coccon of our space

caught in the limbo of our thoughts

and passing throuh the metamorphosis of our life

but suddenly oneday we are wide awake

spreading the wings we are ready to fly

fly as high as nothing could hold us back

cause we are beautiful than ever before

today, i do agree with  my friend

failures are painful as they always are

but in that ordeal of life

we are transformed into something more
