They say for everything there is a reason

and it is not for us to ask why

things change with every new season

you make new friends and lovers say good bye



I feel a change in you I can't understand

and I try to look the other way

I hold on like a child holds a mothers hand

just to be with you one more day



My love for you grows with each passing hour

and like that child I am weak when your away

I cant make you love me,I dont have the power

so I keep on waiting for the words you never say



If only you would look in my eyes

a love stronger you would never see

so I hide my feelings so you dont see me cry

god what I would give to hear you say you love me



I know someday you will turn and walk away

try to remember me with a smile

not the tears you see here today

and all I ask is you think of me once in awhile
