One Blissful Morn

Once more, I visited that shore
Where I slumped on the sand
And rescued by a rock.
His scent was still there
Fanning my sensibility.
I asked my silhouette,
"Why won't his spirit flee?"

I went for a stroll
Not knowing where to;
The wavelets were lapping
Every step I left behind;
Undeterred by a memory
of that incident long ago;
Deeply yearning for his love.

As if my thoughts reached his own,
A hazy vision came into view
Of a tall man I met long ago.
In apparition he waved
And motioned me to come.
My heart heard a thunder
When he took me far away.

There in his boat
He safely laid me down.
As he took command of the sail,
The wind obeyed without ado.
He came back with assurance
And mused with much happiness
To have found me finally.

There in his beloved land
He told the ancient gods
Of his longing for a love
He craved within his court.
In abeyance for his wish
He was told to set sail
For a maiden awaiting.

Now he laid claim on her
As sweetly in love abiding
He crowned her head with adulation
Anointing her body with tenderness
Her breasts heaved in his supplication
Surrendering her will to his own
They awoke content one blissful morn.
