Amidst the broken embers, I'll push you far away

Can't let you touch my heart, then let the pieces shatter

You tell me over and over again that everything will be okay

but I know inside that your words don't even matter



Watch the blood pour out these veins,

Just as quickly as the pouring rain

You can call it something different,

but inside it hurts just the same



Screaming inside,

the hurting will never end

Each day the wounds get deeper

Until it is too deep to ever mend



The love that left its remnants

Never meant anything

It only leave its lost lovers in a lovers suicide

or with a pain that forever will sting



The fire burnt out long ago only leaving embers

Time to give up the fight and surrender

Just cry until there is no more tears

and remember what brought you here
