I find strength in all your weaknesses

You find weakness in all my faults

You are my whole damn night sky

To you I am just a star



I built my whole existence around you

You built your life around my lies

I would always be there for you

You were there to wipe away my tears but you could never see me cry



I put all my trust in you although trusting for me is hard

You broke down all my defenses, you let down my guard

I did not want to give it all up to you

But you tried your hardest to take it all away



You held me hand but I held your heart

You fell in love after a while, I fell from the start

You said that you would take it slow, but you ended up going so fast

I can't keep up, I am slowed down by the baggage of my past



Overdose of tears that you try to push away

But when I try to help yours you say that you are okay

Why is there this distance between obsession and love

I thought we were destined from the one up above



We kissed under the stars and walked hand in hand

But said no words when in front of you I would stand

There is a weakness between you and me

Something hidden we will never see
