The sun is….

Waning, once more.

Soon, 

the long shadows.

Will all merge together. 

With the grey, 

turning to black, 

and the darkness.

Signifying that,

the day has now turned, 

into night.

The stars and moon, are hidden.

Behind the clouds.

Leaving only ….

A scant glow,from the scattered street lights.

Meanwhile curtain less windows.

Flash …..coded messages,

like Aldiss lamps.

As they’re turned on and off. 

Leaving the darkness.

Once again…

Silent, and

Unforgiving
