My History I know I've only known you for a very short time
as you smile in the clouds and your memories shine
the cheerful spirit that you always brought to our hearts
and the beauty you possess that never seemed to stop
My heart just cried on that late April night
I couldn't believe you were gone, I lost my appetite
It's strange how life deals its cards nowadays
with you being gone leaves me scarred nowadays
You're in a much better place as you start a new life
It's necessary to mourn your death,but still celebrate your life
Now I'll say farewell to you my friend
and for all that it's worth
You're in God's arms now because you were
truly an angel on earth
