Your Lies

You wish to replace the things I said in stone

With words that aren’t even my own

Making up a history we have made from today

By lying about it and making it fade

I’m constantly concerned over a topic which is drown

With the words you wished to turn around

I can’t help but notice the way you say

Everything from day to day

You scare me

Nothing I can do to better this situation

But listen to your variations of the story

I’ll keep all the pictures I have of you

And mark out your face that I drew

You’re nothing when your words bring tears

Even through all our years

It’s worthless to say you’re sorry to me

If you’re going to use words

Because everything you said to me

I have already heard

They’re just lies

Attached to it are good-byes

From me to you, too bad we’re through

But I just had to tell the story that’s true
