A TRIBUTE TO THE QUEEN OF MY KINGDOM

As a line in the Osmonds' song goes:
"There was a kind of hush" in the wee hours last night;
There was a tightness in my chest and the lungs gasped for breath,
As my vision tried to embark on its inter-galactic quest.
Yes, I could feel that certain kind of hush,
As silence stilled the sound of even the insects' stealth.
When a man is in love with the woman of his heart,
It's of no consequence to think about how time departs.
Her love is my life and the essence of my being,
And then that "certain kind of hush" is the music of craving,
In every artery, vein and capillary of my body,
Assuring me deep within of her own vibrant melody...

Now, some women are fools and some are vain and haughty,
They want to be all that which is abhorred by society.
They are succubus demons who love to suck semen,
And drain the entire vigor of men who fall for them.
These vile and dark creatures even appear as an angel,
Whereas their hideous lust is hidden in their evil smell.

So as the certain kind of hush gives gusto to true lovers,
It also warns the men to be alert of all such creatures.
Whatever, it was the line of the song, sung by the Osmonds,
"The certain kind of hush" that exposed an old demon.

I am a different kind of man, who is protected by God,
With my keen ESP acting as my alert, loyal guard.
And as it happened last night, I got rid of a succubus,
Who wanted to ensnare me and drink my 'blood's gush'.
Yet I am grateful to God and "the certain kind of hush",
And thankful to the woman who saved me from a 'crush'.
So,where there is true love between a man and a woman,
The haggard succubus -- even disguised as a nun,
Can't seduce me with all her vile temptation,
For I am endowed with God's divine protection...

The moral of my battle last night with a 'daughter' of Satan,
Proves that God saved me via the prayer of 'my woman'.
This woman can bash every succubus lurking to tempt me,
For she is strong and capable of vanquishing all devilry.
In the end all I would say, in total admiration,
Is, I love her -- the only 'she' -- the Queen of my Kingdom.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem is an account of how I, with the help of God and the true love of my special woman. succeeded in unmasking a succubus that tried its best to seduce and destroy me. I am indebted to the line"There is a kind of hush" taken from a song by the band known as "The Osmonds". The song can be found on Youtube and after listening to it one can relate more easily with the paranormal mood of the poem.
