I'm glad I took the time to say,
I loved you each and every day.
and when you passed,
how I did cry,
but I'm glad I was with you
to tell you goodbye.
I felt much better
and not so alone,
because you and I knew
God was taking you home.
Family and friends
won't always be there
So please take the time
