I'M SO GLAD TO BE HERE

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

I just got off the train.

  At times, a heavy rain.

At times, a midnight freight train.

  Yes, a real migraine.

A trip to the land of insane.

I'm so glad to be here.

A long, long, trip, it has been.

A major cut on the lip.

Yes, there were things that did'nt make me grin.

A insane game, I never thought I would win.

I'm so glad to be here.

When I saw your face.  I knew I was in a great, great place.

It's so good to be home.  I'll no longer feel alone.

I'll be no longer blue.  It's true, every day'll be new.

We will have so much to do.

There's so much to explore.  We can open every door.

I'm so glad to be here.

Seeing you as good as a chocolate milk sip or

a vacation pool dip.

Seeing you as good as a first kiss on the lips.

I know apart, us they'll never rip.

I'm so glad to be here.

    I have finally arrived.

We can really thrive.  We can feel alive.

A car at the beginning of a scenic drive.

    We really can go far.

I'm so glad to be here.

I have come many, many, many miles.

I see your many, many, smiles.

A new life, with somebody I want as my wife.

They us, can't cut with a knife.

Oh, I'm so glad to be here.

Yeah, I'm so glad to be here.
