MY MOM DRIVES A TRUCK

                        MY MOM DRIVES A TRUCK
This is the day.  Can't wait to get on the way.
A big name on the side.  A joy, that this boy can't hide.
A name on the side bright.  This will be a delight.
Could'nt sleep at all, last night.
We get in the truck.  I hope we have good luck.
If things don't go well.  Her boss does yell.
If she's late.  That's not great.  Her boss does hate.
I am in my seat.  This is neat

We are really going fast.  All of these other cars we have passed.
We seem to fly.  We are above all the cars.  I can see so far.
In our truck, we are so high.  I try to touch the sky.
This is great.  Mom says it is called an interstate.
Mom shows me on the map, where we are going to go.  I want to know!

A lot of drives are were shocked, ehen my mom began to talk.
They don't know at all, she was a female.

We'll hauling lots of games, books, toys.
They'll bring lots of joy to girls and boys.
We're taking them to a toy store at a mall.

The radio.  Where do all the other truckers go.  I want to know!
We stop and get something to eat.
                               This is really neat.
Her, everybody does know.  Everybody does say hello.
See, they all love meeting me.
She says I'm her son.  They ask if I'm having fun.
She said it's called a truck stop.  Out of the truck, I hop.
In we walk.  I listen to the talk.

A truck toy she does buy for this boy.
I lie in my bed.  All the thoughts of the day in my head.

A motel for the night.  All the lights on the highway go by.

We had dinner.  It was a real winner
Ice cream, dream, neat, a real treat.
This day was really fun.  I just hated that it was done.

  When there is no view,
I look at a book.  Yes, true.  That is what I do.
    We listen to a tape.
  A great escape.
We listen to a CD.  See, really fun for me.
We sing along to all the songs.

  She hopes we'll have luck;
  there will not be see,
  a lot of traffic.
   A accident or a crash
  can cause traffic for miles.
  There are no smiles.

  She also hopes,
we will not be stopped by
  the cops.

We've been driving all day.
We have gone a long way.

   She talks with other drivers.
She gets the news.  She gets the views.

We will not drive at night.
  That is all right.
I see all the other cars and trucks
and their bright lights.
