The Dance

On a full moons eve
Wishes to whisk you away
Onto the street we weave
My footwork would move to the pounding beat
Under the brightly shining stars
Throughout the midsummer heat

The rhythmic beat
Of your passionate heart
Keeps to my feet
Moving to and fro apart

When we tire of the dance
We will lay in the long nestled grass
There we will stare into the open skies
To there in which lies
The beauty in your eyes

Cool and damp the night lays its presence
You and I like a warm burning fire lay in essence
